Polyurethane transparent topcoat for wood H21

Description
Two-component polyurethane transparent topcoat for wood H21 –  30% gloss, resistant to 120°C.

Applications
For internal use. It is suitable for MDF and all types of wood. Suggested to paint tables, desks and furniture in general, where excellent resistance is required. The product meets the minimum resistance requirements provided by the UNI 11216 regulation. In particular, it has excellent scratch resistance and resistance to contact with very hot objects (120°C).

Specific weight – 0.94 kg/l.
Solid content – 36-39%.
Gloss – 30%.

Application method
By gun, airless spraying, curtain coater.
Mixing proportions: to obtain the ready mixture, a hardener (B58) is added to the top coat in a quantity of 50%.
Dilution: the mixture is diluted with polyurethane thinner (P73)  in a quantity of 30%.
Pot life of the ready mixture: 3 hours.
Rate of consumption: 120 g/m2.
Dust free : 15 minutes.
Touch free: 60 minutes.
Drying time: 8 hours

Recommendations:
–    applying 1 layer of universal stain (C608) on the surface.
–    30 minutes after applying the stain, apply two coats of a polyurethane transparent sealer (G92), 40 – 60 minutes from one another.
–    sanding the surface with sandpaper 220-400 – 8 to 12 hours after applying the second layer of sealer;  
–    applying one layer of polyurethane transparent topcoat (the ready mixture).

Storage
In a well-ventilated place with temperatures between  5°C – 35 °C in a tightly closed packaging
Shelf life: 24 months in closed packaging.
